Dr Teo graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2008 and obtained a Gradate Diploma in Family Medicine in 2012. She has undergone clinical postings in various medical fields such as Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine and Infectious Diseases. She has also worked in Singapore's Polyclinic where she manages chronic disease like Diabetes, Hypertension and Hyperlipidaemia.
 

She has a special interest in Preventive Medicine and was a Senior Resident with the Preventive Medicine Residency Program where she obtained a Master's in Public Health from NUS in 2013. She is very passionate about holistic patient management and believes strongly in the motto "prevention is better than cure".
 

As a mother of 2 young children, she is also attuned to the problems concerning both Women and Paediatrics.
